Autumn Palette

As a bit of a change from my usual travel posts I've put together a little Autumn lookbook thanks to the amazing folk at Grana! I love the range of chinese silk they offer because not only is it heavenly soft, the colours are so rich and perfect for autumn. So I went for a matching two piece (silk top & shorts) and I dressed down the rust ensemble with a (japanese) denim shirt. Now usually an outfit that involves cashmere would be regarded as pretty damn luxe but in typical Emma style I've gone and grunged it up just a tad for my second look with my greek fisherman hat & DIY choker... thoughts though? At the end of the day it's still quality Mongolian cashmere so pretty luxe in my books! Paired with Emerald silk shorts.

CRUISE // Noumea

Alright, it's time for a catch up! Late last year Alyse (you guys know my sister Alyse? If not, click here and get to know her - she's my best travel-buddy/assistant/photographer/everything) and I went on a 10 day cruise through the Coral Sea. We were on the voyage thanks to Student Flights who hired us to create some video content for their social media channels and such. I've always loved creating videos while travelling and it's so crazy/amazing/dreamy to have people appreciate them so much that they hire us to do the same for them. I love it! 

Anyway, we were on a 10 day cruise and first stop was Nouméa in New Caledonia! Once we had docked we immediately got on another boat (a little speed boat) and drove over to Duck Island to spend the day soaking up the sunshine and snorkelling. Just the beginning of what was a killer trip! So much more to come!

PALM BEACH

All outfits by Grana

We spent a day with Grana and started with an amazing breakfast at The Grounds of Alexandria (which is constantly growing! I swear it gets bigger every time I go). I was in a particularly dreamy mood thanks to think silk dress in purple. Anyway, back to our day! We decided a day trip was in order so after fuelling up with breakfast we set off to Palm Beach. We rode a couple of gorgeous cruisers around the east side beach before tackling a little hike up to the light house for a 360 degree view of the peninsular! A view with two beaches is pretty special. It actually turned out to be a really sunny afternoon so before we headed home we couldn't resist a dip at the west side beach.

Vitamin Sea

While in Vanuatu for the Helloworld Relay we also had a few chill days either side. When we arrived on Espiritu Santo we first stayed at Moyyan - House by the Sea. It was probably one of the loveliest places I've stayed throughout my blogger 'career'. Our gorgeous bungalow backed right on the beach and I fell asleep to the sound of soothing waves crashing every night. 

We pretty much had a white coral sand beach to ourselves while there which we took full advantage of - taking long walks, searching for sea life and soaking up the sunshine. Mostly we ate at the restaurant - except for one night we borrowed the resorts bikes and cycled in the moonlight to the nearest sports bar for a few drinks and a few games of darts - so we had everything we needed right there and you can't really ask for much more. It really was paradise.

 For my second day of fashion week I decided on a casual outfit. I've been dying to wear shorts for weeks now as it had been pretty cold in Europe over March. I broke up the black outfit with this super soft Lee Mathews shawl. I also attended the Lee Mathews show that day - more photos to come in my wrap-up of the week soon!
