Well 'ello 'ello chap! Here we have a little DIY for a pleated skirt! It's been a long while since we've seen a DIY on Spin Dizzy Fall but here we are again.
Pleats are always very hard to work with but the hardest part to this is finding a nice vintage pleated skirt. I couldn't go past this black one when I found it op-shopping and decided to cut it the same length as my pleated skirt from Market HQ (post here). If you can get away with a raw hem, go for it because hemming pleats can be a nightmare!
This may well be the last outfit post before MBFWA kicks off on Monday so wish me luck! I've only just got a couple of outfits together and there's a lot more to do so I better get to it!!

The title made my day (: I've tried DIYing pleated skirts before, found it extremely difficult to get the hem just right.
ReplyDeleteIt's near impossible to get it right but the way I see it is "life's too short to worry about loose threads" :)
DeleteThis outfit is so cute and you look beautiful!

Love the thigh high socks. I have been on the hunt for some myself. I have knee length ones but they are a nightmare to wear as I find I always have to readjust them as they get loose and fall down. Any tips?
