Little Blue House

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Coat - GOSHcelebrityfashion, top - BooHoo, boots - Soles, Shades - ZeroUV eBay, plus hat/skirt/belt/bag are vintage.

Today I met up with a few other Sydney blogger babes and had a play in the Door 121 showroom. At one point I actually just sat down in front of these chocolate covered pretzels and had a little snack. I'm now obsessed with them and it's reminded me to make some of my own!

Even though the Sydney summer has just decided to kick in, I absolutely love this coat by Minty Meets Munt. A major staple piece that I'll be wearing most of next winter, I can already tell!
Keep your eyes glued on my instagram because there are some fun projects in the works for me and Spin Dizzy Fall!

On Sunday we went out again to say farewell to friends who are going away over the summer to travel, some for even longer than the summer. Wanderlust is kicking in but my desire to save money, for the grand traveller's dream in a year's time, is still holding me to the ground here in Sydney for the summer.

You can't tell in these photos but my shades are hiding a mean sunburn from the amazing sunshine we had on Sunday. Let's hope we have more stunning days like that over the next few weeks (but hopefully not the sunburn)!

Sequin Shorts

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Shorts - August Street, heels - Tony Bianco, clutch - c/o The August Street team, bracelets - vintage & Tresor Paris.

On Friday I headed out for a wicked night on the town for a friend's birthday in these August Street shorties. I love them because all you need is a simple black outfit and the shorts do all the talking!

As you can probably tell my hair is getting super long now so I'm thinking about a cut before summer or at least a trim!

August Street Outing

On Wednesday a bunch of bloggers spent the afternoon hanging out with the team at August Street, eating cupcakes, browsing the colourful racks of designs by August Street & Pink Stitch then trying on our favourites!

Above I'm wearing a wicked playsuit by August Street and navy maxi by Pink Stitch along with my fellow bloggers, the lovely Steph and Kristal.
Thanks to everyone at August Street HQ for having us!

Yesterday I took a little trip into Surry Hills to visit the team at August St & Pink Stitch. More photos from behind the scenes coming in a post next! I wore this little outfit to skip around town in. I am usually spotted in heels or boots but these amazing jewelled sandals have won me over! I was blown away when I opened the box when they arrived on my doorstep. If you're a follower of my Instagram then you'll know that each pair of the Aleeyas come with a second jewelled strap that you can swap on the sandals. So gorgeous!

So excited to finally own these two books! I'm a book lover and I'm psyched to have lots to read over the summer (including a whole other pile of books in my room).

I originally wore this trippy dress to the Iconic's 1st birthday but converted it to dreamy daywear today with a tee underneath. Also, just a little shout out to all my new followers plus those on Instagram! My instagram username is @emmalucey

Lime day at the Races

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Playsuit - Market HQ, Shoes - Rubi, belt - Sportsgirl, Bag - Sussan, Shades - Zero UV eBay, bracelet & white ring - Lovisa and DIY flower headband.

On Saturday, Luke and I headed off early to the races with a bus load of friends. I was excited to finally wear this lime playsuit that I got last month from Market HQ. At first I was planning on wearing a head-chain however I had been wanting to complete a flower headband for ages now. So I took on the challenge and made one white and one black flower headband, the latter I wore on Saturday with black heels and accessories! White nails finished off the look, along with my white and gold rings.

I only put on a few odd bets for fun and ended up winning $30 from a $2 bet which bought me a few more sneaky drinks! Check out my instagram (@emmalucey) to see more photos from the day.

The Rumour Mill

wearing: Top - Somedays Lovin (via MHQ), skirt - junk, headband - Lovisa, Sunnies - ZeroUV and boots, belt, coat and necklace all vintage finds.

On wednesday I attended the launch of new PR company The Rumour Mill. It was lovely to see old workmates, most of all the girls from the Market HQ team, even though it was only last month I left. Everyone at Market HQ are real lovely.

There was so much happening but I couldn't steer myself away from the Someday's loving corner which was filled with classic rock images and antique lounges. Love it! The food and drink was also mint with dumplings and cider being my favourite.
Tomorrow I am off to the races so hopefully this weather clears up for a sunny Saturday! Sending out good vibes!

p.s. I have some NEW clothes & shoes on eBay (here) ending on Sunday! Includes gorgeous Bec & Bridge shorts for sale.
