I LOVE that even though it's almost winter, we are still prancing around in crop tops here in Sydney (well, I am anyway)! Let's hope these lovely non-chilly autumn days hang around for winter *touch wood*. This crop was actually a killer find as it's perfect for transeasonal dressing - the sleeves are the perfect length - almost like a designer boxy top style. On a side note, I feel like I'm having a major fat-face moment in these photos! I can usually tell if I've been eating too much just by looking at my cheeks/chin. However, I've been enjoying food too much lately, so let's just hope it's the illusion of the hairstyle (...denial)! Anyone who knows some great face workouts, please let me know. Happy Sunday!

Lack of Colour

I absolutely loved the beach house we stayed in when we went on our road trip to Kiama. The daring scandinavian styling really won me over. It was an absolute dream! Feeling real dreamy and dazed in this printed blouse from Wish. I wore this to breakfast in Double Bay this weekend. I guess this is my take on tran-seasonal dressing - long sleeves, bare legs, big boots & a little bit of gypsy. It's been a real good weekend so now I'm resting up for a long week of planning new adventures - I feel some serious wanderlust coming on! Can't complain at all! Cheers guys x

Rugged up in this wrangler goodness this weekend - damn it's cold! Thankfully I'm a sucker for oversized designs and this coat is very very cosy. However I was definitely not cosy last night. About 8,000 participants ran in 13 degree C temperatures through Centennial Park in Sydney last night for Nike She Runs... and I was one of them! So excited to say I jogged all the way, which is crazy for me - but more on that later in another post - stay tuned! Right now I'm going to make a tea and rest my aching knees in front of the TV.

Before I do though, I thought I would mention that Wrangler Australia is hosting a competition on instagram - The #WranglerSunChaser Challenge. Each week of the competition has a theme and this week is the last week to get in on the action (5th-10th) with your interpretation of 'Chase the Sun'. Recently I was super stoked to visit the team at Reid Cycles in Glebe who sent me off with this stunning specimen of a bicycle! A 'ladies vintage bike' that is. So fancy, fancy! I just love it and can't wait to take it for a spin soon. Afterwards it was lunch time and we finally made it to Pablo & Rusty's. The cauliflower and bacon soup sounded so amazing that both my pal Bree and I ordered it. Luckily it did not disappoint. Such a good Autumn meal! On a side note I have just listed a whole bunch of designs from my wardrobe on eBay - have a looksie (here) and get your bids in on your favourites!

The Potting Shed

One of my pals and I went to try out the food at the new section at The Grounds of Alexandria, 'The Potting Shed'. I had the Pansotti pasta parches which were absolutely amazing! It's pretty cute inside and of course there are tonnes of pots and plants everywhere - so nice.

Things I like about Autumn:

Golden leaves, leather skirts/shorts, crisp mornings, soup, orange leaves, candles, sleeping in, watching movies, road trips, red leaves camping, floppy hats, hot chocolate ... and the fact you can wear shorts and long sleeves together. I am still holding on to bare legs! Today was pretty damn chilly though so maybe our days are numbered. Except for possible trips overseas ... lots of planning to do this week and I'm excited!

FALL FLORALS

I almost forgot about posting this little look! I have to say my favourite part of this top is the diamond mesh window on the sleeve. At the moment I'm loving an orange tint lip. I'm pretty hopeless at wearing lipstick - I usually get it everywhere - but I purchased a Revlon colour burst matte balm crayon in this lovely orange shade (called 'Mischievous'). To be honest I was influenced by the amazing Zoella on Youtube as I am a bit youtube crazy at the moment. You know those nights you think to yourself "Oh great, I've finished everything before 10pm - I'll get a great sleep!" then you end up sitting on your phone or laptop till midnight? That's pretty much every night for me and I'm usually on Youtube watching new videos! So fun. Would love to hear your favourite youtubers? Monochrome My Style

I'm not always a Monochrome type of girl - I love black and I love white but I always seem to sneak a bit of colour in somewhere! This time this rust red wall is the hero - or more like the sidekick to this skirt because damn, it's amazing. A nice balance between bohemian & casual. I liiiike that!

Ok, so drop waist dresses are kind of my new addiction. I was hesitant with the drop waist styles at first because I always thought they would be unflattering on me - but they are actually perfect! Super comfy and this one is a good length. This week has been a crazy, quick and amazing week for me - so busy which is great! Yesterday we decided we'd go on a little road trip and camping for the Easter long weekend so tomorrow we are off bright and early! Don't fear as I will still be posting (hopefully - if the internet works for me). Hope you all have amazing weekends!
